Founded in 2019, URR Design Group is a specialist residential design and consulting practice delivering high-quality design solutions across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
The business was originally established with a focus on custom homes, renovations and extensions, working closely with individual clients to create homes tailored to their needs and lifestyles. As the practice evolved, so too did its focus, expanding into larger-scale projects and strengthening relationships with builders and developers.
Today, URR Design Group specialises in medium-density developments, retirement living communities, display homes, standard housing products and lot-specific housing solutions. The practice also provides development consulting services, including estate design guidelines and product development support, helping clients deliver efficient, buildable and commercially successful outcomes.

About Ian Pumpa
Since commencing his career in 1995, Ian Pumpa has built more than three decades of experience in residential building design, product development and construction documentation. Having held senior design and product development positions with major residential builders, Ian has developed a comprehensive understanding of the residential building process and the factors that drive successful housing outcomes.
Today, as Director of URR Design Group, Ian partners with developers and builders across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia, providing design and consulting services for medium-density developments, retirement living communities, display homes and standard housing products. His work is underpinned by a practical understanding of construction, a commitment to quality and a focus on delivering efficient and commercially viable solutions.
Through collaboration, innovation and attention to detail, Ian has established a reputation for delivering thoughtful residential design outcomes that meet the needs of clients, builders and the communities they serve.
