FAQ

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR A RESIDENTIAL DESIGN PROJECT?
Refer to the page OUR PROCESS.
Absolutely, we look after all types of residential projects from new homes, extensions, renovations plus dual occupancy and medium density.
Depending on the complexity of the project, a small internal alteration might only take a few weeks however a new home or a medium density project can take up to 12 months. It’s best to have a chat with us so we can give an answer that is more appropriate for the project you are planning.
All we need is to know what you would like to achieve; we’ll guide you the rest of the way.
Most projects will require building permits, we can guide you when we know what the project scope is.
Revisions are certainly ok, we include 2 rounds of revisions in the Design Development Stage, after this we can discuss and agree on the best solution for other revisions.
In most cases the initial design consultation is free of charge, we do this for free as it gives us a chance to better understand what you are hoping to achieve.
If we have to travel more than an hour for the initial consultation then unfortunately, we do have to charge however if we can do this consultation on line then it would remain free of charge.
The quote includes the design and documentation of the architectural component of the project. External consultant’s fees are not included however an estimated amount for each of the required consultants will be listed on the quote and we assist with finding and engaging the required consultants.
